His Hands for Haiti Child Sponsorship Program

We are a child sponsorship program that pairs sponsors, people like yourself, with needy children in Haiti. His Hands for Haiti works alongside our Haitian partner, Pastor Apollon Noël, who has been ministering in Terrier Rouge, Haiti since 1958.  His church, L'eglise Baptiste de Terrier Rouge, is very active in reaching out to the people in their community trying to be a light in a very dark place. Pastor Noël has also sent us out to help a multitude of other pastors all around Northeastern Haiti.  All of them have schools as part of their outreach ministries which they use to help educate the children and show them the love of Jesus.  His Hands for Haiti gives them further opportunity to do this. When a child is sponsored for $10 per month through His Hands for Haiti they receive:

  • a school uniform
  • the opportunity to attend school
  • a hot meal each school day (in the schools that are able to provide a meal - for more information on which schools are able to prepare a noon meal, see the profile for each community on the "Community Profiles" page)

Sponsors receive a photo and personal information about the child they are helping including information about how to correspond with their child, if they choose to do so. Sponsors can choose the age and/or gender of the child they would like to sponsor and may continue to sponsor the same child from year to year, as long as the child remains in the program.

100% of the sponsorship payment goes directly to Haiti. None of it is used to cover the administrative expenses of this program here in the US.

Sponsoring a child in Haiti is truly a blessing not only to the child, but to the sponsor as well. Some sponsors have been able to join one of our mission teams traveling to Terrier Rouge and have experienced the joy of meeting their sponsored child!  Would you consider sponsoring a Haitian child today?
