His Hands for the Philippines

Our goal is to support and encourage the work of our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Philippines and to support the ministries of their churches, giving special emphasis to supporting children to enable them to attend school. We strive to demonstrate the love of Christ through works of service to these churches as well as to other Christian missions and missionaries in the Philippines as we have opportunity – to be God’s “hands and feet” and His servants to His children in the Philippines.

Why the Philippines? Why should we help?

"Then Jesus said to his host, 'When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.'” Luke 14:12-14

Philippines statistics

With a population of over 92 million people, the Philippines is the 12th most populous country in the world. One-fourth of the population lives below the poverty line and one-fourth of all Filipino children are considered moderately to severly underweight. As a result, 3% of all Filipino childen will not live to see their 5th birthday.

His Hands for the Philippines

His Hands for the Philippines - Luzon was founded in February of 2011 when a partnership was formed between His Hands Support Ministries and the His Hands Christian Community Outreach Association. His Hands Christian Community Outreach Association (HHCCOA) is a Philippines-based non-profit organization which exists to help Filipino pastors and their congregations. Based in Baguio City, on the northern island of Luzon, HHCCOA is working to help their brothers and sisters in Christ reach out to the poor and needy in their congregations and the surrounding communities with the love of Christ to meet both their spiritual and physical needs.
In 2018, His Hands for the Philippines - Cebu also began a new partnership with the C.U.R.E. Foundation to help provide the necessary funding for their Ranch Ni Cristo project.

Children enrolled in the His Hands for the Philippines - Luzon Child Sponsorship Program will receive assistance with their school fees, a uniform and school supplies. They will also be enrolled in regular rice distributions for their families. For a small monthly fee of just $10.00 you can sponsor a needy Filipino child. Your sponsorship will help send them to school and help change their life!  Children enrolled in the His Hands for the Philippines - Cebu Child sponsorship program will receive the necessary financial support to maintain their living situation at Rancho Ni Cristo in Cebu.  For a monthly fee of $50.00 you can sponsor one of the children in the Cebu program. 100% of your sponsorship payment goes to the child in need and to the school, none of it goes toward the administrative expenses of this program.
