My name is Daniel Joseph. I grew up in an orphanage with 65 children. My love for entrepreneurship led me to a business degree, but my passion to serve others just like I was served lead me to the creation of the organization "Fondasyon Aid Pam", which means "My Aid Foundation". We've been operating since October 2012. Our mission is to assist other missions in Haiti in order to avoid hurting while they are trying to help. For now, we are working alongside a few organizations as facilitator and/or translator. Sharing the love of Christ through actions is one of the most important pieces in the puzzle, James 2:24. We learn about the needs in the communities, and take them to whom God leads us to. When we choose to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, we believe that we are building hope for the hopeless. I came to learn about the Secondary students in Paulette having to walk 7 miles one way to the school in Terrier Rouge while I was working alongside His Hands for Haiti a few years ago. Through prayer and God's timing a new project was born, Pedals for Paulette. By contributing to this bike project you are helping us to make the change that is needed to help these students spend less time traveling each day or missing school often. Our goal right now is to raise enough to purchase 200 bikes at $64 per bike. Not only will you be helping a student through your donations, but you'll be helping the economy here as the bikes are purchased locally. Thank You!
